Meet the Founder
bijoux x brie | Jewelry Designer

Jewelry has always been part of my life — long before it became my business.
I grew up in my parents’ jewelry store in New York City’s Diamond District. Some of my earliest memories are sitting on showroom floors eating Chinese food while surrounded by gemstones, tools, and half-finished pieces. One of my favorite photos — the one you’ll see around my studio and website — is me at just ten days old on my mother’s hip while my mom made a sale.
Jewelry wasn’t just something I admired. It was something I grew up around, absorbed through experience, and eventually fell in love with in my own way.
About bijoux x brie.

Finding my way back to making

As an adult, my path moved through both creative and corporate worlds. I worked in jewelry, design, and business — gaining hands-on experience with custom jewelry projects, client education, and the behind-the-scenes realities of how fine jewelry is designed, produced, and worn over time.
That experience shaped how I work today. I learned how important it is to design jewelry that’s not only beautiful, but practical, durable, and appropriate for real life.
Eventually, I reached a point where I couldn’t ignore what I missed most: making things with my hands and working directly with people.
I didn’t want to wait years or raise capital before creating again. I wanted to build a jewelry studio that felt personal, approachable, and grounded in honesty — one where people could ask questions, learn, and feel confident in what they were choosing.
That’s where bijoux x brie began.

What bijoux x brie is today

bijoux x brie is a modern jewelry studio built around curated jewelry experiences and custom design for real people.
Some clients discover the studio through permanent jewelry. Others through a charm bar piece, a pop-up event, or a small custom engraving. Many return later for more personal projects, fine jewelry designs, or meaningful keepsakes.
I love that people can start wherever they are — and grow from there.
Today, bijoux x brie offers:
-
Permanent jewelry
-
Custom jewelry design
-
Charm bar and build-your-own jewelry experiences
-
Ear piercing
-
Private events and celebrations
-
Curated ready-to-wear collections

Every experience is designed to feel welcoming, collaborative, and thoughtful — whether you’re choosing something simple or creating something deeply personal.
How I work

I believe jewelry should feel good to buy, good to wear, and good to come back to.
I take an education-first approach to jewelry design. That means helping clients understand their options, explaining materials honestly, and guiding decisions with longevity and wearability in mind — even when that means recommending a simpler or more practical choice.
There is no pressure here and no “one right way” to do things. My role is to offer clarity, experience, and thoughtful design so you can choose what truly fits your life.
Many clients return over time, and that has always been the goal — not transactions, but relationships.
Materials & approach

bijoux x brie works with a wide range of materials, selected intentionally based on use, lifestyle, and design goals.
This may include stainless steel for bold everyday pieces, sterling silver and gold-filled materials for elevated personal designs, and fine materials such as solid gold, platinum, diamonds, and gemstones for clients seeking heirloom-level work.
Custom fine jewelry pieces are designed by me and produced in collaboration with trusted master bench jewelers — the same approach used by established fine jewelry designers — ensuring each piece meets high standards for structure, balance, and durability.
No matter where you’re starting, you’ll be met with the same care, honesty, and attention to detail.
A note from me

If you’re looking for a jewelry designer who is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in what you’re creating — you’re in the right place.
Thank you for being here and for supporting a small, independent jewelry studio built with intention, curiosity, and a lot of heart.
— Brie
