Whether it’s your child’s first earrings, you’re finally getting the second holes you’ve wanted for years, or you’re adding another piercing to your ear, you should have time to feel comfortable, ask questions, choose earrings you actually love, and make sure you’re happy with the placement before anything happens.
That’s why I wanted to create a different kind of experience for anyone looking for ear piercing in Rhode Island — one that feels private, personal and unrushed rather than transactional.
At my private jewelry studio in Lincoln, Rhode Island, appointments are one-on-one and intentionally unrushed. You’ll have my full attention from the time you arrive until you leave — along with snacks, drinks and room for parents, siblings or grandparents to come along for the experience.

What to Expect at Your Ear Piercing Appointment
We’ll start by choosing your earrings from my collection of 14K gold piercing earrings.
Then we’ll talk through the process and mark your placement.
I pay particularly close attention to this part. Everyone’s ears are different, and even a few millimeters can change how an earring looks or how future earrings will sit around it. We’ll look at the placement together, make adjustments if necessary, and nothing happens until we’re both happy with it.
Once you’re ready, the actual piercing is quick.
Afterward, I’ll walk you through aftercare and send you home with everything you need to care for your new piercings.
There’s no line behind you or pressure to hurry because someone else is waiting. If you need a minute, you have a minute.
Where Can You Get Your Ears Pierced?
Ear piercing doesn’t have to stop at the traditional first lobe placement.
Depending on your anatomy, I can also help you add additional lobe piercings and piercings in appropriate areas of the outer ear within the capabilities of the Studex System 75.
If you’re starting to build an ear stack, we can also think beyond the piercing you’re getting today. Where might you eventually want another? How will the spacing work? What will the different earrings look like together?
You absolutely don’t need to arrive knowing the answers. That’s part of what I’m here for.

What Piercing System Does bijoux x brie Use?
I use the Studex System 75, a modern hand-pressure piercing system that uses individually packaged, sterile, single-use cartridges.
And no — this isn’t the old-fashioned spring-loaded piercing gun you may remember from the mall.
The piercing earring has a specially designed pointed post and is already contained inside the cartridge. Controlled hand pressure creates the piercing and secures the earring in place — quickly and quietly.
That’s also something many of my nervous clients really appreciate: there isn’t a separate piercing needle for you to see coming toward your ear.
I’ve had both adults and parents tell me that alone makes getting pierced feel much more manageable.

But Aren’t Piercing Needles Better?
You may have heard that piercing guns cause unnecessary tissue trauma and that a needle is always the better way to pierce.
A lot of that concern comes from the traditional spring-loaded piercing guns many of us remember. System 75 works differently: it’s hand-pressure operated, uses a pointed piercing stud rather than a blunt fashion earring, and each piercing uses its own sterile, disposable cartridge.
Needle piercing is also a legitimate professional piercing method. I chose System 75 for the ear-piercing services I offer because I’m comfortable with the system and particularly like the quiet, controlled experience it gives my clients.

What Does Ear Piercing in Rhode Island Cost?

That includes one or two lobe piercings, your 14K gold piercing earrings and a take-home aftercare bag with Studex Advanced 2-in-1 Aftercare & Cleanser.
I intentionally made this an all-inclusive experience because I don’t love the idea of advertising one price and then having you discover that the earrings you actually want, the second ear or the aftercare you need all cost extra.
You know what you’re spending before you arrive.
The Studex Advanced aftercare included with your appointment is alcohol-free and uses hypochlorous technology. Studex recommends a three-week application regimen for new lobe piercings with its Advanced formula, compared with its traditional six-to-eight-week aftercare period.
That doesn’t mean you should change your earrings after three weeks — your initial jewelry still needs to remain in for the recommended healing period.
It means your aftercare is already chosen, packed and ready to go home with you.
No standing in a store afterward trying to figure out which bottle you’re supposed to buy.
Bringing Your Child for Their First Ear Piercing
This is where having the appointment to ourselves can really matter.
I do expect parents to prepare their child beforehand and make sure getting pierced is something they actually want. But I also know a child can enthusiastically say yes for an entire week and feel very differently once they’re actually sitting in the chair.
That’s okay.
I’ve picked up plenty of tricks for helping nervous kids feel comfortable, and I’ll adjust based on the child sitting in front of me.
Some kids are ready immediately. Some need to see everything first. Some want a parent’s hand. Some are much happier knowing they aren’t going to see a needle. And some need a distraction, a snack or a few extra minutes.
I’ll wait until they’re ready.
Parents, siblings and grandparents are welcome too, so first earrings can actually feel like the little family milestone they often are.
