BOOKING & DEPOSITS
A deposit is required to reserve all appointments, private parties, and events. Deposits secure your date on our calendar and allow us to prepare materials in advance.
Studio Appointments
-
A $25 booking deposit per service is required for studio appointments.
-
This deposit is applied as a credit toward your final total at checkout.
-
Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or for no-shows.
Private Parties (In-Home & Small Group Events)
-
A $100 deposit is required to reserve private parties where guests purchase jewelry à la carte.
-
The deposit is applied toward the host’s final total or minimum spend.
-
If a minimum spend applies and is not met at the time of the event, the person who booked the party and agreed to these terms is responsible for paying the remaining balance at the event.
Larger Events, Weddings & Hosted Experiences
-
Larger events and hosted experiences require a custom deposit, typically 50% of the estimated total to reserve the date.
-
The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, unless otherwise specified in writing.
-
Events involving 14K gold jewelry or special-order materials require full payment upfront prior to ordering.
Final pricing, deposits, and minimums for larger events are confirmed during the booking process and outlined before the event is secured.
General Deposit Policy
-
Deposits are non-refundable for appointment cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment or event. For events, deposits are non-refundable for cancelations made less than 14 days from the up to 2 weeks out from the event date.
-
Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled date when notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance, for appointments subject to availability.
-
Failure to meet agreed-upon minimums does not void the booking; balances are due at the time of service.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
We understand that life happens.
-
Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
-
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows will result in forfeiture of the $25 deposit as a cancellation fee.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened or canceled appointment to respect other scheduled clients.
For private parties and events, cancellation terms may vary and will be outlined during the booking process.

CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER JEWELRY
Custom and made-to-order jewelry is final sale.
-
Each piece is created specifically for you.
-
Natural variations in materials, gemstones, and finishes are part of the design process and are not considered defects.
-
Once production begins, custom orders cannot be canceled, changed or refunded.
PERMANENT JEWELRY
Care, Repairs & Re-Welds
Permanent jewelry is custom-fit and welded in place for everyday wear. Like all fine jewelry, it’s designed to last with proper care and awareness.
Each piece includes one complimentary re-weld if the original weld opens. Complimentary re-welds are available exclusively at our Lincoln, Rhode Island studio.
If a chain breaks due to stretching, snagging, impact, or everyday wear, repairs are available for a fee. Tarnishing may also occur over time and is influenced by wear habits, skin chemistry, environment, exposure to chemicals, lotions, perfumes and overall care. While we provide guidance on how to keep your jewelry looking its best, long-term appearance depends on how a piece is worn and cared for.
In rare cases, a connector may break when jewelry is damaged. When this happens, it’s best to assume the connector will need to be replaced. If an alternative repair option is available, it will be offered during your appointment. Repair booking deposits may be applied toward the cost of a replacement connector when applicable.
After your appointment, you’ll be directed to our Permanent Jewelry Care Guide with everything you need to know about wear, care, and repair options.
Eligibility & Safety
Permanent jewelry services for minors require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian must be present at the time of the appointment and complete all required consent forms before service can be provided.
Permanent jewelry is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or implanted medical devices. The welding equipment used during the service emits an electrical current that may interfere with certain medical devices. Clients are responsible for disclosing relevant medical conditions prior to their appointment. If you have questions about whether permanent jewelry is appropriate for you, we recommend consulting your medical provider before booking.

Allergic Reactions & Medical Care
While allergic reactions are rare when proper materials and procedures are used, individual responses can vary. In the event of a suspected allergic reaction or unexpected medical response, clients will be advised to seek medical attention from a qualified healthcare provider. bijoux x brie does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

For children 12 months of age or younger, current vaccination records must be provided prior to piercing, in accordance with Studex safety guidelines. bijoux x brie reserves the right to decline service if required documentation cannot be verified.

Ear piercing services for minors require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian must be present at the appointment and complete all required consent forms before service can be provided.
EVENTS & MOBILE SERVICES
For private parties, weddings, and hosted events:
-
Pricing, travel fees, service minimums, and deposit requirements are discussed and agreed upon in advance of booking. Dates are not held without a confirmed deposit.
-
Final details, including estimated guest count, service selections, and timing, must be confirmed prior to the event date. Changes requested close to the event may not be accommodated.
-
Hosts are responsible for meeting the agreed-upon service minimum. If the minimum is not met at the time of the event, the remaining balance will be due from the host who booked the event.
-
Adequate space, lighting, seating, and a safe working environment must be provided for services to be performed. bijoux x brie reserves the right to pause or decline service if conditions are unsafe or do not meet requirements.
-
For events involving custom orders or 14K gold materials, additional deposits or full prepayment may be required based on materials ordered and production timelines.
-
Mobile services are scheduled with care. Delays caused by late arrivals, incomplete setup, or event interruptions may impact the number of guests served.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS & SENSITIVITIES
bijoux x brie uses carefully selected materials and follows professional handling procedures to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. However, individual sensitivities, skin chemistry, and medical conditions vary, and reactions can occur even when appropriate materials and protocols are used.
Clients are responsible for disclosing any known allergies or sensitivities prior to service. In the event of a suspected allergic reaction or unexpected medical response, clients will be advised to seek medical attention from a qualified healthcare provider. bijoux x brie does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and is not responsible for allergic reactions that occur following service.
